The Grey is a glacier located in the Torres del Paine National Park, and is part of the Southern Ice Fields. Its ice mass reaches more than 6 kilometers wide and its ice wall reaches more than 30 meters high. The glacier presents a bluish coloration, due to the absorption of red light wavelengths by the ice, and the dispersion of blue light wavelengths.

Navigation on the lake consists of trips from the hotel pier to Refugio Grey, either round trip or one way.
