During the excursion, you will navigate Grey Lake aboard a specially designed boat that approaches the glacier, allowing you to admire massive ice walls, floating icebergs, the Paine Massif and surrounding mountains.

The tour includes a short and easy walk to the boarding area followed by navigation in front of Grey Glacier, one of the most famous glaciers in southern Chile.

Walk to the Dock

The check-in process for each journey begins an hour before the scheduled departure time, and it is necessary to present your reservation voucher upon registration. To access the vessel, you are invited to enjoy a scenic 30-45 minute walk through the picturesque Grey Beach to reach the boarding area. This walk adds a touch of adventure to your experience before embarking on this exciting journey. The walk is not suitable for people with limited mobility or those who depend on other aids for movement. If you are attending with infants, it is recommended to use specially designed backpacks, as the terrain is not conducive for strollers or human-powered transport carts. On high-demand days during the summer months, a fourth navigation is enabled. It is important to note that this navigation does not include embarking or disembarking at Refugio Grey.

For the journey aboard the "Grey III," we recommend staying alert for the departure announcement, which signals the start of our exciting navigation. We will first pass by Grey Refuge and then head towards the glacier. During check-in, you will receive detailed information about the exact departure time and any additional instructions relevant to your onboard experience.
