Walk to the pier

Check-in for each sailing opens one hour before the scheduled departure, and you need to show your booking confirmation when you register. To reach the boat, you'll enjoy a scenic 30 to 45 minute walk across the striking Grey Beach until you arrive at the boarding area. This stretch adds a touch of adventure to your experience before setting sail. The walk is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or who depend on mobility aids. If you're travelling with infants, we recommend using a baby carrier backpack, since the terrain is not suitable for strollers or hand-pushed carts. On high-demand days during the summer months, a fourth sailing is added. Please note that this sailing does not include boarding or disembarking at Refugio Grey.

During check-in you'll receive detailed information about the exact departure time and any additional instructions relevant to your time on board.

Sailing in front of Grey Glacier

Setting off towards Grey Glacier aboard our modern catamaran is an experience of its own. Take in the spectacular views of blue ice and icebergs floating on grey waters. The Patagonian wind will brush your face as you look out at Cerro Paine Grande, the Paine Massif, the forests along the lake, hills of layered rock and snow-covered summits. With some luck, you'll witness chunks of ice calving from the glacier. You can taste a pisco sour served with glacier ice while you keep watching this display of nature. Join us for a day you'll remember.

12:45/15:45/18:45 - Return to the starting point

After taking in the imposing beauty of Grey Glacier and stopping at Refugio Grey, you'll head back to your accommodation. Take the chance to enjoy a calm walk along the striking Grey Beach before making your way to the local restaurant or the Río Pingo minimarket, to round off the day with a meal or to pick up a special souvenir. We hope you've made the most of this adventure in Patagonian nature.
