Visiting Torres del Paine in winter is a unique experience. From May to September, the park’s tranquility and absence of crowds allow you to enjoy almost empty trails and increase your chances of spotting wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, and pumas. The snow-capped mountains and late sunrises create a magical and photogenic environment, perfect for photography and nature lovers.

Although temperatures can drop to -7°C and reach highs of 5°C, with the right equipment you can enjoy the park without worrying about the cold. Winter is less windy than summer, allowing you to see crystal clear reflections in the lakes. The daylight hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM, are ideal for exploring without having to get up early.
