Hotel Check-in and Getting Ready for the Adventure

On your arrival in Puerto Natales, the gateway to Chilean Patagonia, you'll check in at Hotel Martin Gusinde or similar. This welcoming place is ideal to rest, settle in without rushing and start connecting with the singular atmosphere of the far south. During this first night you can recharge, enjoy the quiet charm of the town and get ready to begin your winter experience in the remarkable Torres del Paine National Park the following day.

Viewpoint Route in Torres del Paine

From Puerto Natales we'll set out towards Villa Cerro Castillo, a drive of about 45 minutes surrounded by Magellanic forests, valleys and towering mountains. Our first stop will be the Lago Sarmiento viewpoint, where you can take in the striking Paine Massif. Then we'll visit the Laguna Amarga viewpoint, home to flamingos, before entering Torres del Paine National Park. Along the way we'll enjoy sweeping views from various viewpoints, such as: Lake Nordenskjöld, Salto Grande, Lake Pehoé, Weber Bridge and Grey Lake. On the way back we'll explore the Milodón Cave Natural Monument, an archaeological site of great significance. We'll end the day in Puerto Natales, taking with us lasting memories of the vast Patagonian landscapes. Duration: 10 hrs Difficulty: Low Includes: Breakfast

Trekking Challenge to Base Torres

After an energising breakfast at Hostal Factoría, an epic day towards the Base of the Torres del Paine begins. We'll start our journey to the National Park early, heading to Reserva Cerro Paine, the trailhead. Before setting off, the guide will give key instructions and check the gear, including trekking poles and special winter equipment (crampons and gaiters, if needed). The route will take us through: An initial one-hour ascent with views over the Ascencio Valley. A crossing through a lenga forest along the Ascencio River, framed by the imposing Cerro Almirante Nieto. A stop at Refugio Chileno to refuel before the final challenge. Last section: a steep, rocky trail that ends at the Torres del Paine viewpoint, where the towering Central, Monzino and Dagostini Towers await, along with Cerro Peineta and Nido de Cóndores. After taking in this natural spectacle, we'll begin the descent along the same route, ending the day in Puerto Natales with the satisfaction of having explored one of the most iconic destinations in Patagonia.
