The only way to reach the boat is a 30 to 45 minute walk to the boarding area, crossing the Grey Beach sector. This 3-hour crossing takes place aboard the catamaran "Grey III" and lets you enjoy an incomparable landscape of floating icebergs, lush vegetation and commanding mountains. You'll not only enjoy the view of the glacier, but also views of Cerro Paine Grande, the Paine Massif, forests along the lakeshore, hills of stratified rock, and snow-covered summits reaching into the clouds. With some luck you'll see and hear chunks of ice break off the glacier and fall into the water.

At sunset we return to Puerto Natales.
