The Bories Cold Storage Plant, declared a National Historical Monument in 1999, is located in Puerto Bories. Just 5 km north of Puerto Natales in Chilean Patagonia, this site is notable for its post-Victorian English industrial architecture. Founded by European pioneers in the late 19th century, the plant was an important center for the slaughter and processing of sheep. Today, many of its buildings can be visited, offering tourists a unique glimpse into the region's rich livestock history.
