An excursion that joins two of the four accesses that the Torres del Paine National Park has, allowing you to visit a little-known and very attractive sector for wildlife observation. Its landscape environment is undoubtedly a place worth visiting. At the time of entering the park through the Lago Sarmiento gate, we will start our path with a gentle inclination with a side view of the imposing lake of the same name. Almost all of this route adjoins private land, a habitual hunting area for the largest predator in the region; the Puma.
After an hour of walking we will arrive at an eave where it is possible to see a series of paintings
caves with a date that exceeds 6,000 years old. The conditions of this sector allowed it to be frequented by groups of for thousands of years in search of food throughout the American continent. In this site we will be able to photograph the environment and understand the rugged geography associated with the rise of high peaks and huge tracts of land towards the east.
After 2 hours of walking we will arrive at the main access to the Torres del Paine National Park: Laguna Amarga gate. Before beginning the descent between conglomerate rocks, it will be possible to observe the sinuous shape of the Paine River. After a stop for the use of services, we will return to the vehicle to go to the Cascada Paine sector. The day continues towards Cañadón Macho, an area where it is possible to observe large groups of guanacos that coexist with species such as the Ñandú, Zorro Gris, Cóndor, Águila Mora among others.
After passing through this extensive valley, we will begin the return to the city of Puerto Natales with the feeling of having experienced a true day of adventures, far from the crowds and in the wild environments of Southern Patagonia.
