This tour to the Pingüino Rey Park operates from Punta Arenas, we move to Tierra del Fuego where we will go through beautiful landscapes until we reach the Penguin Colony.
During the low season you can observe a population of about 35 specimens of Pingüinos Rey, from a distance of 20 to 25 meters approximately as the spring advances they are increasing in number being able to observe in summer a much bigger group reached the 90 penguins approximately.

Departure from your hotel at 7:45 am to take the ferry that crosses in the sector of Three Bridges to Tierra del Fuego. The ferry departs at 9:00 hrs to arrive in Porvenir at 11:15 am.
In Porvenir, time is given to visit the Fernando Cordero Rusque Provincial Museum. In this place, it is possible to propose a lunch or, if it is not included in the service, visitors will have the time to buy food on their own.
All this is done in approximately 2 hours of travel, bordering the coast and with stops at places of historical and geological interest. We arrived at the Pingüineras at 3pm, to stay there for 1 hour and a half.

The Park is completely natural, there is only one gate to control access and a strip demarcated with stones from the same place to determine how far they can approach for observation and photography.
As this species is very wild, it does not know man and by its own nature it is very curious, so it is very common that, if it is not scared, it approaches alone and you can have a very close contact.
Continuing with the Tour, at 16:30 we leave towards Cerro Sombrero, about 180 kilometers and 3 hours of trip, passing by several Estancias where you can see all kinds of typical fauna. Finally we arrive at Chilota Bay to take the ferry and cross back to the Continent in a trip that does not exceed 30 minutes when we disembark, we must travel 200 kms. to finally get back to the city of Punta Arenas at 21:30 approximately.
