To enter Chile, tourists or non-resident foreigners must present one of the following documents or certificates:
-A certificate of complete vaccination against COVID-19, according to the country where it was administered. This document is equivalent to the Mobility Pass.

Or

– People over 18 years of age must present, when boarding the means of transport to the national territory, a PCR test against COVID-19 with a negative result.

Only people who, at the time of entering the national territory, correspond to a confirmed case of COVID-19, must comply with the isolation measure for 5 days in a health residence or in the place determined by the health authority.

Transportation from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine Park

Conaf’s main gateways for access in vehicles and buses are:

  • Laguna Amarga porter’s lodge: 129 kms. from Puerto Natales
  • Porter’s lodge Lago Sarmiento: 112 kms. from Puerto Natales
  • Porter’s lodge Rio Serrano: 80 kms. from P. Natales (newest and shortest route)

Transportation from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales

Between Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales there are 250 kilometers of distance by good paved route.

For those who travel by bus the main companies that cover this route and others to Torres del Paine, Calafate and Argentina are:

  • Buses María José
  • Buses Fernández
  • Buses Pacheco
  • Bus-Sur
  • The main border crossing from Argentina in this sector is Río Don Guillermo, located in Villa Cerro Castillo, 58 km from Portería Laguna Amarga, and communicating with the town of Calafate, Argentina, 284 km away.
  • Visit to the Park by car or tour
  • A very recommendable experience to make in a day is the journey by car along the route that borders the Park and its different lakes (Nordensjold, Pehoe, Grey). Several tourist agencies offer a Full Day program that stops at viewpoints and restaurants with incredible views.
  • Visit to the park by footpaths and W circuits (Trekking)

For those who want to tour the Park along its W Trek and Full Circuit trails, the following buses and regular Bus and Boat services along Pehoe Lake and Grey Lake will take you to the beginning and end of your excursion.)

 

Regular bus schedule to Torres del Paine Park from Puerto Natales

You can check the schedules and rates for the bus transfer from Puerto Natales Bus Terminal to Torres Del Paine in the Bus-Sur reservation system. The round-trip tours have stops at the Laguna Armaga Gate, Pudeto, Administración and Lago Grey.
