It is suggested to acquire double lunch box in the Vertex Gray Refuge. Supplement

Day 1: Puerto Natales – Amarga Lagoon – Camping Seron

  • Departure from Puerto Natales at approximately 07:30 hours (You must stay at 7:15 hrs in the bus station) in regular service heading to Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
  • At the entrance of the park must fill out a form and pay your entry.

  • Trekking Camping Seron (5 hours approx / 9 km).

Day 2: Trekking Camping Serón – Dickson Shelter

  • Breakfast.
  • Walk amidst the abundant flora where you can visualize Lago Paine (6 hrs aprox / 19 km).
  • Everyone should bring their lunch box, which requested the night before (only full board option).
  • Dinner in the dining shelter.
  • Accommodation in  Dickson Shelter

Day 3: Trekking  Dickson Shelter – Los Perros Camping

  • Breakfast in the dining room of the shelter.
  • Lunch box
  • Wonderful glaciers and Southern Ice Fields view.
  • Walk towards Los Perros camping along the river Los Perros (4,5 hrs. Approx / 9 km).
  • Check the site.
  • Accommodation at Los Perros Camping

Day 4: Trekking Los Perros Camping –  Grey Shelter

  • It is suggested to leave early, no later than 07:00 am.
  • This step is the most demanding program. In case of bad weather, the authorities (CONAF) reserves the right to close the passage.
  • Perform the crossing by the “Paso John Gardner”, that with its 1,241 meters, will mark the highest point of the trek . After overcoming the pass, the terrain remains steep and requires all the attention, as well as a firm and steady walking pace.
  • Walk downhill (12 hrs approx / 18 km).
  • Arrive at the Grey Shelter.
  • Dinner at the Shelter
  • Accommodation at Grey Shelter.

Day 5: Trekking Grey Shelter –  Paine Grande Shelter

  • Breakfast in the dining room of the shelter
  • Walk towards Vertex Refugio Paine Grande on the banks of the mountain, where you will find viewpoints to appreciate the majesty of Grey Glacier (3,5 hrs ).
  • Lunch in the dining room of the shelter
  • Dinner in the dining room of the shelter
  • Accomodation at Vertice Paine Grande Shelter

Day 6: Trekking Paine Grande Shelter – Valle del Francés – Los Cuernos Shelter

  • Breakfast in the dining room of the shelter
  • Start trekking heading to Camp Italiano (2.5 hours / 7.5 km), gateway to French Valley, where you can see the hanging glacier of Mount Paine, that with its constant melted ice, forms waterfalls that feeds the Rio French. It is an excellent opportunity to appreciate the flora and fauna of the mountain.
  • According to capacity and/or climatic conditions, British camp hike (2.5 hrs / 5.5km each way).
  • Lunch Box .
  • Hike to Refugio Los Cuernos (2.5 hrs / 5.5 km)
  • Arrive to Los Cuernos Shelter.
  • Dinner in the dining room of the shelter
  • Accomodation at Los Cuernos Shelter

Day 7: Trekking Los Cuernos Shelter – El Chileno Shelter

  • Breakfast in the dining room of the shelter
  • Start trekking toward El Chileno Shelter along Lake Nordenskjold ( 6 hours / 11 km)
  • Lunch Box
  • Hike to El Chileno Shelter (2,5 hrs/5,5 km).
  • Arrive to El Chileno Shelter.
  • Dinner in the dining room of the shelter
  • Accomodation at El Chileno Shelter

Day 8: Trekking Refugio El Chileno – Las Torres’s Base – Puerto Natales

  • Breakfast in the dining room of the shelter.
  • It is suggested to leave early to the Base de las Torres to admire the different shades of red and orange that stains the granite massif with the first and warm rays of the day (2 hours each way).
  • Lunch Box or lunch in the dining room of the shelter.
  • Departure to Las Torres’s Sector (2 hours) to take the transportation to Amarga Lagoon and connect with the regular bus at 19.30, on the way to Puerto Natales.
